DC systems are used in transformer substations and switchgear. The main electrical receivers in the SOPT-MT system at these facilities are: RPA devices, alarm devices, control circuits for high-voltage devices, emergency automation devices. The system is powered by one or two independent AC inputs. In the basic version, two charging and rectifying devices are connected in parallel, where each is powered by its own AC input or from two via an AVR. To effectively convert the supply alternating current into direct current, charging and rectifying devices are made using pulse width modulation technology, have a microprocessor control system and a modular design with independent, parallel operation of each module.
